Service Description

Our Math Games is an 8-week course designed for students grades 6-8 to learn math concepts associated with games. Students will investigate probability, patterns in numbers like fibonacci sequences and make their own game using principles of mathematics as a final project. Materials needed: pair of dice, dominoes, and calculator. Each participant will receive a STEM kit with supplies and materials. GRADES: 6-8 REQUIRED TEXT: N/A ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Registration covers up to 3 students in a family for a course. Please indicate the names of each child in a family registering for a course. The event will kick-off with parent orientation and Q&A session Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Central.
