PATRICK RICE, PH.D.
Dr. Rice is the former Field Services Director for the Illinois Association of School Boards. Prior to this position, Dr. Rice was the building principal of J.L. Buford Intermediate Center in Mount Vernon, IL and an adjunct professor for McKendree College in Lebanon, IL. Besides these careers, Dr. Rice has served in various other educational positions. He was a history teacher at Springfield High School and East St. Louis, Sr. High School; assistant principal at Clark Middle School; principal at Meade Park Elementary; and transition specialist for minority students at Southwestern Illinois College. He has obtained various degrees in educational administration including a masters and specialists’ degree from Eastern Illinois University and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
